Grand Canyon University invites the parents and guardians of its students to log in to GCU Parent Portal and access all of their student information over the web. You can also make payments for your students electronically. The GCU Parent Portal is available only for the registered guardians and parents of the Grand Canyon University students online at any time.
How to Log In GCU Parent Portal Online Account:
A GCU Parent Portal account is set up by the respective student through the eSIRF (electronic Student Information Release Form) process. Hence, to access the GCU Parent Portal, you must have the email address registered with the account and the password provided by your student. If you have these credentials, you can follow the steps given below to log in to your GCU Parent Portal Account online.
- Visit the official Grand Canyon University parent login portal at parent.gcu.edu
- Enter your email address and the password linked to it in their respective fields on the left-hand side of the page.
- Click the “Log in” button to access your GCU Parent Portal Online Account.
- If it is your first-time GCU Parent Portal Account Access, you will be prompted to create a new password.
Once logged in, you can view the academic records such as grades, attendance, schedule, classes, status, behavior, etc. of your students. As a registered parent or guardian, you can also their financial information like method and form of the payment, balance, collection status, and more.
How to Reset GCU Parent Portal Account Login Password Online:
As a registered user of GCU Parent Portal, you can reset your login password when you forget the info or at any time you want. For that, you can
- Go to the GCU Parent Portal, parent.gcu.edu
- Click the “Forgot your password?” link located below the entry fields on the left.
- Enter the email address associated with your GCU Parent Portal account in its specific empty box
- Hit the “Email Link” button under it.
You will receive a password resetting email at that address. Open the link in that message and create a new password maintaining the requirements for your GCU Parent Portal Account.

How to Register for GCU Parent Portal:
The parents or guardians cannot set up their GCU Parent Portal account to log in by self-servicing. they will need to be invited for the registration in one of the two ways: through an electronic Student Information Release Form (eSIRF) or a document requiring parental e-signature.
GCU Parent Portal Registration method has two steps. In the first method for eSIRF, your student has to contact the GCU Student Service Counselor or SSC to access the electronic Student Information Release Form for you to complete and sign into it. Once SSC allows the form the student needs to log into their GCU portal account to locate the e-docs. Then, he or she will fill out the form and grant the third party access providing the required information. Set up a FERPA PIN or Password for your parent or guardian.
In the second or last step, as a parent, you will receive an email invitation from parentportal@gcu.edu after your student submits the eSIRF. Follow the instruction on the email and click the link in it to initiate your GCU Parent Portal account registration using that email address and your student-provided password. Create a password that must be at least 8 characters and has 2 letters and 2 non-letters. Click the “Register” button and your GCU Parent Portal account will be ready to log in.
After the registration and password set-up, you will see the form that requires your electronic signature if you initiated your GCU Parent Portal registration through the parental e-signature.
