You have a few different options to make a payment; pay online, mail in your payment, set up automatic payments, pay by phone, and by MoneyGram.
Pay online: You can make your payment on our website by registering your account and entering your checking account or debit card information manually*. Please be advised that debit card payments are not available in all states. To register your account online, you will need to enter your account number which can be found on your statement. Online payments for the same day should be made before 5:00 PM PST.
Mail your payment: You can mail a personal check, cashier’s check, or money order along with your payment coupon in the envelope provided with your statement. Please be sure to write your account number on the payment document. Our payment address is:

Automatic Payments: You may sign up for our Auto Pay service which allows you to arrange automatic vehicle payments on a monthly basis from your checking account. You may do this either through our website or by filling out the Automatic Payment Authorization Form. The form and a copy of a voided check need to be faxed to 714-844- 4536 or mailed to Customer Service at:

Pay by phone: Call us at 888-810-8740 to make a payment with your checking account (may be subject to a fee). Please have your routing number and checking account number on hand. Phone payments for the same day should be made before 5:00 PM-PST.
MoneyGram: MoneyGram has thousands of locations all around the world. To find the location nearest to you, go to www.moneygram.com. You’ll need to supply MoneyGram with our receive code 7356 and your Gateway One Lending & Finance account number.
To view your entire payment history, log in to your account and click “Payment History.” Transactions will be available for viewing once they have been processed and applied to your account.
You can find out how much you have paid in interest by accessing your payment history details. Log in to your account and click on “Payment History.”
You will not be able to make the interest-only payment because this is a simple interest loan, you cannot pay interest that you have not already accrued.
Principal only payments need to be sent separately from your normal monthly payments and cannot be made online. Principal only payments will show as a reduction to your principal balance. Please mail any principal only payment to the address below and include your account number and a notation for principal payment:

If you send in a payment larger than your contractual monthly payment amount, the overage is automatically applied to the principal. Please be advised that even though it is applied as a principal reduction, it will show as a credit on your statement.
Any web or phone payments will post to your account on the set debit date at midnight that night. However, please be advised payments made with your checking account may take 24-48 business hours for the funds to be withdrawn from your checking account. If after 48 business hours, the funds have not been withdrawn from your bank account, you need to call at 888-810-8740.
The company do not offer a biweekly automatic payment plan; however, you are able to make multiple one-time payments throughout the month as long as the total amount due is received by the payment due date.
The confirmation number is only a confirmation that your payment has been submitted and not that it has been processed. Once your submitted payment is sent through to your bank, your bank may reject it for various reasons such as invalid routing number, invalid account number, insufficient funds, etc. If your payment has not been pulled from your bank account within 48 business hours of the debit date.
The company cannot accept credit card payments. However, MoneyGram does accept credit cards and can wire transfer funds to us by using our receive code 7356.
TCF will accept a Gateway One payment in the form of a check or money order. However, the branch will then mail the payment to Gateway One for processing. Please be advised, this may cause a delay between the time the payment was made and the time it is posted to your Gateway One account.
You can access your monthly statement online anytime by selecting the date under “View Statements” on the “My Account” page. However, you do not need a statement to make your payment. Note: You are responsible for making current and future payments on or before the due date listed on your contract with or without a monthly statement.
In order to change any information on your automatic payments, you will need to first cancel your current Auto Pay on our website or over the phone with a representative at 888-810-8740. You will then be able to set up your new AutoPay with your new information on our website or by submitting a new Automatic Payment Authorization Form.
The company does not currently charge a fee for using our online payment services.
You can cancel your scheduled automatic payment on our website in the “Scheduled Payments” section by clicking “Cancel Payment” or by contacting us at 888-810-8740.
You may schedule multiple one-time payments throughout the month but only one per day.
