WCCCD Blackboard Online Account Login
Wayne County Community College District allows the students and faculty registered for Distance Learning to enter the WCCCD Blackboard system and access their courses utilizing all the tools and services available to them online anytime anywhere.
WCCCD Blackboard, a web-based course management system, is used to deliver a course completely online or to supplement on-campus courses. By logging in Blackboard, the users can perform a lot of learning activities such as access the course material; post online announcements and course contents like syllabi, handout, PowerPoint Presentation etc.; collect, grade and submit assignments or assessments; participate in discussion about course content and topics related to it; manage grades and make them available for students to view and many more.
How to Log In WCCCD Blackboard Online
WCCCD Blackboard Learn has a user-friendly interface through which the students, as well as the educators of WCCCD Distance Learning Center, can easily access their courses.
In order to log into the Blackboard offered by WCCCD and take all the benefits of this virtual learning environment, you can follow the short guide provided below after you enroll for a WCCCD Online Course.
- Go to WCCCD Blackboard Learn Website www.blackboard.wcccd.edu
- Type your WCCCD ID which is your 9-digit Student ID beginning with the letter ‘A’ in the USERNAME field in the middle of the page.
- Fill out the PASSWORD field with your 6-digit WebGate password
- Click the “Login” button and enter your WCCCD Blackboard Account to access the online classes.
The students, who have problems to locate their WCCCD Students ID, can look at the upper right-hand corner of their class confirmation form or any college form containing their name.
After logging in, the first-time users can navigate to their courses listed on the upper right side of the ‘My Institution’ page under “Courses in which you are enrolled”. Click on the applicable course title link to get to your WCCCD Distance Learning Course.
How to Reset WCCCD Blackboard Account Login Password
The WCCCD students and staff who do not remember their Blackboard password or WebGate PIN can take the following steps to reset the info to be able to enter the Blackboard system.
- Visit WCCCD Blackboard Learn Portal www.blackboard.wcccd.edu
- Click on the “Forgot Your Password?” link found below the right end of the Password Entry Field
- Enter your WCCCD User or Student ID in its specific box. If you forgot this info too, you can enter your Social Security Number.
- Then provide your 6-digit Birthdate as your PIN in the next space.
- Click the “Login” button to try to enter your WCCCD Blackboard Account.
- If it will not work, try the last six digits of your WCCCD ID as the PIN Number to log in.
- Still can’t enter the Blackboard? Then just enter your User ID and click the “Forgot PIN?” button next to ‘Log in’.
Provide the requested information and follow the online prompts to receive the instruction on how you can create a new password and obtain the WCCCD Blackboard Access again.
Important Information on WCCCD Blackboard Learn Access
- WCCCD Blackboard Access to Courses begins on the official first day of the semester so you may not access the Blackboard until the first day of your class.
- New registration for online courses gain access four hours after enrolling
- The WebGate and Blackboard password cannot be different and set independently as both runs on the same system. So, to reset your Blackboard password, you must change your network password on WebGate too.
- Up to 3 hours are required for WCCCD Blackboard to update the changes of the password.
- The email of the new Blackboard user is the same as the email they provide in WebGate.
- The email address can be changed by editing Personal Information from your My Institution page in the Blackboard.
